Schuyler Brown, Founder
MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

It's easy to procrastinate about scary topics. I did, until my dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 kidney cancer. Dealing with the emotionally devastating news was hard enough. Asking him to document his will, life insurance, etc...added way more stress before going into surgery. I never want anyone else experience that stress in the middle of a medical emergency. That's why I built LastShelf.

The Problem

The hardest moments should not come with a search party.

When someone has a medical emergency or dies, families are suddenly asked to find documents, call the right people, access accounts, understand insurance, and keep important bills paid.

LastShelf helps you do the loving thing ahead of time: leave them a clear path.

The gap

Leave clarity, not questions.

What most families live with today

  • — A will in one folder
  • — Insurance details in an inbox
  • — Passwords and account clues in someone’s head
  • — Bills and due dates scattered across email, bank statements, and memory

What LastShelf provides

  • — Step by step instructions for what to do first
  • — Critical documents, contacts, and account access in one place
  • — Important bills with payment details and due dates
  • — Trusted contacts who know how to help when needed
Three motions

Discover. Organize. Guide.

01

Discover

LastShelf helps surface critical bills and account details from connected sources, then guides you through the documents, contacts, and instructions only you know.

02

Organize

You decide what belongs in your family’s plan. Review what LastShelf finds, add missing details, and keep everything calm and understandable.

03

Guide

Choose trusted contacts and give them step by step instructions for what to find, who to call, and which critical bills need attention.

Trust

What we hold. What we never hold.

LastShelf handles sensitive family information with the care it deserves. It can read connected email and bank data to find important bills, but it never moves money. Password sharing stays in your password manager; trusted contacts get only the access and instructions you choose.
